The Red Bank Oratory of St. Philip Neri (In-Formation) invites you to 40 Hours of Devotion for the Feast of St. Philip Neri, our Father and the Founder of the Oratory. Beginning May 25 at 8 p.m. (after the 7 p.m. Mass for the Ascension) and continuing for 40 straight hours all day and night until Saturday morning. 40 Hours ends with an Mass of the Oratory at 11 a.m. in the parish church of St. Anthony of Padua.
Mr. Shawn Mack, a great friend of the Oratory and the Director of Sacred Music for St. Anthony of Padua is donating his time and a few singers to sing the Mass composed by Palestrina. Giovanni Palestrina was a member of the first Secular Oratory in Rome. We are most grateful to Shawn for offering this great gift to the Oratory.
